THE MYSTERY OF HOLINESS (PART 1)
The antidote to destruction is the word of God. It is not just to carry the Bible, but to have the word in your spirit. God is looking for someone that will stand for Him fanatically and believe.
He said He has delivered us from the power of darkness and has translated us to the kingdom of His dear Son. To be translated is to change status. You are not who you are now compared to who you used to be before. If any man is in Christ he is a new creature, old things are passed away behold all things have become new 1 Corinthians 5:17.
Today’s message; according to the leading of the Spirit is centered on “The Mystery of Holiness”.
This is the reason why a lot of people are becoming victims; if you fail to walk with God you will go down so sharply
The mystery of Holiness; the role that holiness plays in your sinning. In this month of August that God has declared “It’s your time to Shine” everywhere you find yourself as a child of God you are destined and ordained by God to shine, you should shine forth in your health, business, marriage, relationship, your children will shine forth wherever they are.
Iniquity is walking in lawlessness and living the opposite side of life to God. The righteous is depicted with Holy life. Holiness is walking in the fear of God and living a life of obedience to the dictates of the Spirit. It is completely contrary to what some people depict holiness to be; some think not using earrings or when you tie a scarf is a holiness. That may be a personal decision but looking at the scripture; Holiness is applying yourself to the word of God.
Holiness is consistently striving to please Him. John 8:29, Proverbs 16:7. Holiness is so powerful such that it has the capacity to subdue your enemy before you. 1 Peters 1:14-15, Proverbs 23:7, Hebrews 12:14.
Holiness is expressed both in your words, your thoughts, and your actions. If your thoughts are not controlled by the word of God certainly your actions will betray you. The proof that your thoughts are wrong is seen in your action. No one lives outside-in, we all live inside-out. When you see a man
operating or acting in a particular way it is what is inside of him, even if he is drunk. Holiness is a decision.
